About iGrow Wealth
iGrow Wealth is an independent personal-finance publication. We write about money the way a friend who happens to know the subject would talk about it: clearly, without jargon, without selling you on anything, and with the math attached.
What we cover
Retirement planning, investing, mortgages and home buying, taxes, debt repayment, and budgeting. The questions a normal household actually has — not the lifestyle of the ultra-wealthy or the latest market drama.
Our point of view
- Time and consistency beat cleverness. Almost everything important in personal finance is decided by what you do for thirty years, not what you do this Tuesday.
- Index funds, in most cases. Active stock picking is fun and usually expensive. We will tell you when it is worth doing — which is rarely.
- Tax-advantaged accounts before taxable ones. The order of operations matters more than the picks inside.
- Insurance and emergency funds are part of the plan. A great portfolio with no buffer is one bad month from a forced sale.
- Plain English over precision. When a simpler explanation gets you 95% of the way there, we use it.
Who writes this
[Add your bio here. Be specific. "Former financial advisor turned writer." "Engineer who got obsessed with this and read every Bogleheads thread." "CFP candidate." Whatever's honest. Avoid the generic "I love helping people with their money" voice — readers can smell it.]
